Hamdan bin Mohammed Announces Dubai's Winning Bid to Host ICCV 2029 Computer Vision Conference

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation, today announced that Dubai will host the International Conference on Computer Vision (ICCV) 2029. This premier global event in the field of computer vision and AI is expected to attract over 15,000 industry leaders, experts, and officials from around the world.

Sheikh Hamdan highlighted Dubai's thriving ecosystem for innovation and creativity, emphasizing that the emirate's exceptional hospitality makes it the ideal setting for such a high-caliber conference. "Hosting ICCV 2029 aligns with our vision for the future of technology and underscores the UAE’s commitment to being a major player in the AI revolution," he stated.

The International Conference on Computer Vision ICCV 2029 to be held in Dubai 
The International Conference on Computer Vision (ICCV) is considered one of the top 5 conferences in computer science and a high-level international platform for artificial intelligence.
The ICCV was first held in 1987 in the United Kingdom and has also been hosted in Japan, India, Germany, Canada, Korea, Italy, France, and Spain.
Nominations were submitted from various countries on a global scale, and the selection of Dubai was due to its outstanding presentation of success stories and the efforts of various governmental and private institutions, such as the Department of Economy and Tourism and others.
After global competition, Dubai was selected to host the ICCV 2029 for the first time in the Middle East at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
With its global position as one of the top and safest destinations and the most cosmopolitan city according to McKinsey, the World Economic Forum, and TripAdvisor, Dubai reinforces its distinction by being selected to host ICCV 2029.
